Rey Del Mundo cigars There is a version in the world of tobacconists that the brand was created in 1848 by a businessman of German origin, Emilio Ohmstedt. After his death, Antonio Allones, to whom this cigar line passed, began developing it. Namely under his direction the brand became very popular and one of the most expensive Cuban brands of the time. However, in 60's -70's of the 20th century its popularity decreased as aficionados tended to smoke stronger cigars. And El Rey del Mundo is considered to be a light bodied brand.
The stogies of this brand are enveloped in dark oily wrappers. They have rich aroma and sweet creamy palate, which are very appreciated by their adherents.
