Gloria Cubana cigars The brand is created in 1885 by the Sociedad Cabanas y Castro, and a couple of years later (in 1905) are purchased by Jose F. Rocha. It is small in variety but all its types are totally handmade.
The cigar is given a second chance due to incessant support of Pepin Fernandez, owner of the Romeo y Julieta brand, who assisted presenting the La Gloria Cubana brand abroad.
The brand is often characterized as having a "salty" palate, particularly with ageing process.
