Cohiba cigars This brand is considered to be an exclusive one due to the uniqueness of the processing of its tobacco. Initially, Cohibas were elaborated only for Fidel Castro and Cuban government and were presented for diplomats as a gift. Only in the year of 1982 they began to be produced in a small amount for general public.
The tobacco leaves for Cohiban cigars are collected from the Vegas Finas de Primera (extra fine grade tobacco fields) in da San Luis & San Juan y Martinez zones of the Vuelta Abajo region of Pinar del Rio Province.
These cigars differ from others by smoother aroma and are not recommended for the beginners to smoke.
